How it works
From your artwork
to a printed garment.
Everything on this page describes what the design tool actually does — the formats it accepts, the limits it enforces, and the checks it runs before your artwork reaches the press.
The process
Five stages, start to finish.
Customizing is a sequence — each stage hands something to the next, so they are numbered in the order you will meet them.
- 01
Choose a product and size
Browse the store and open any product that can be customized. Pick your size on the product page, then use the customize action to open the design tool with that choice carried over.
- 02
Set the base colour
Choose from the base colours that product is offered in. The colour is applied to the 3D garment immediately, so you can judge how your artwork will sit against it before you place anything.
- 03
Place artwork in a print area
Each product exposes its own print areas — typically a front and a back panel, each with a real printed size in millimetres. Open one, upload your image, then drag, scale and rotate it into position.
- 04
Check the live 3D preview
Your artwork is composited onto the garment texture as you edit, and you can drag to rotate the model and inspect any angle. What the preview shows is what the print file is built from.
- 05
Add to cart and check out
Adding to cart saves your design alongside the item — the placement, the base colour and a render of the result — so the piece that gets printed is the piece you signed off on.
Inside the design tool
Precise placement, without the software.
The editor runs in your browser. There is nothing to install and no design experience assumed, but the controls are exact enough to place artwork to the millimetre.
Independent print areas
Front and back are edited separately and stored separately. Designing one leaves the other untouched, and each area lists its own printed size so you always know how large the canvas really is.
Drag, scale and rotate
Move artwork with the mouse or finger, resize it from the corner handles, and rotate it freely. The editing canvas is a fixed scaling of the physical print area, so what you see is proportionally what gets printed.
Alignment guides that snap
As you drag, the artwork snaps to the centre and edges of the print area and to the other objects in it, with a guide line showing what it locked onto. The catch distance is measured on screen, so it feels the same on every product.
Live resolution checking
Every time you scale an image the tool recalculates its effective DPI at that printed size and warns you the moment it drops below what prints cleanly. Scale a small image up too far and you will hear about it there and then.
A real 3D preview
The garment is a 3D model, not a flat mockup. Your artwork is drawn into the texture at print resolution and wrapped onto the mesh, so seams, curvature and the base colour all show up before you commit.
Your design travels with the order
The saved design carries the placement data and the uploaded files, so nothing has to be re-sent by email and nothing gets reinterpreted between your screen and the press.
Artwork guide
What to upload, and how big.
These are the limits the uploader enforces. A file outside them is rejected in the browser with the reason, so nothing fails silently after you have ordered. Print files are prepared for direct-to-film printing, which is why edges must be hard and transparency all-or-nothing.
- Formats
PNG, JPG, SVG
PNG for artwork with transparency, JPG for photographs, SVG for logos and type that should stay sharp at any size.
- File size
Up to 20 MB
Comfortably above what a print-ready image of a full-front area needs. Larger files are rejected before they are decoded.
- Image dimensions
Up to 40 megapixels
And no more than 12,000 pixels on a side. File size alone does not bound this — a small JPG can decode to an enormous bitmap.
- Transparency
Fully opaque or fully transparent
Our printer lays white ink under every visible pixel, so soft edges, glows, fades and semi-transparent areas cannot be reproduced. Anything less than half opaque is dropped and everything else is made solid when the print file is prepared. A white box around a logo will be printed as a white box, so export PNG or SVG with the background removed.
- Print limit
297 × 420 mm of film per garment
Front and back artwork together must fit one A3 sheet. A full-size front plus a full-size back is more than that; adding to cart tells you which one to shrink.
- Neck labels
2.5 × 2.5 in, with the garment size on it
Our printer requires every neck label to show the size of the shirt it goes into, so start from the template: its size line is filled in automatically with the size you order, and you keep the font, colour and layout. Use one label design across your products, and add an outline colour so it reads on dark garments too.
Resolution
How large your file
needs to be.
Resolution is not a property of your file on its own — it depends on how large you print it. The same image is crisp at 100 mm wide and mushy at 300 mm. Find the width you plan to print at, and check your file is at least this wide in pixels.
Below 150 DPI the design tool flags the image as low resolution. Below 100 DPI it warns that the print will look noticeably blurry. Both warnings appear while you edit, not after you order.
| Printed width | Crisp (300 DPI) | Acceptable (150 DPI) |
|---|---|---|
| 80 mm | 945 px | 473 px |
| 150 mm | 1,772 px | 886 px |
| 200 mm | 2,363 px | 1,182 px |
| 250 mm | 2,953 px | 1,477 px |
| 280 mm | 3,308 px | 1,654 px |
After you order
What happens once you check out.
Your order goes into production as a print file generated from the design you approved — not from a re-drawn interpretation of it.
- 01
Order confirmed
You get a confirmation with your order number and a copy of the design preview. You can find the same details later under your account's order history.
- 02
Print file prepared
Your placement is rendered at the print resolution the product specifies, positioned against the print area's exact millimetre bounds.
- 03
Printed and finished
The garment is printed, cured and quality-checked against your preview before it is packed.
- 04
Dispatched to you
We ship across the Philippines. You will receive tracking details by email as soon as your parcel leaves us.
Questions
The things people ask us most.
Is there a minimum order?
No. Every product can be ordered as a single piece, and a one-off costs the same per unit as the first item of a larger order.
Do I need design software?
No. The editor runs entirely in your browser — uploading, positioning, resolution checking and the 3D preview all happen on the product page. You only need an image file.
Can I put a different design on the front and the back?
Yes. Print areas are edited and stored independently, so the front and the back can carry completely different artwork, or you can design just one and leave the other blank.
Will the printed colours match what I see on screen?
Closely, but not exactly. Screens emit light and fabric reflects it, and the press mixes cyan, magenta, yellow and black ink, so very bright or saturated colours print a little duller than they look on screen. Neon, highlighter and fluorescent colours cannot be reproduced at all. Expect a faithful match rather than a pixel-perfect one.
My image looks fine in the editor but the tool says it is low resolution. Why?
The editor draws your image at whatever size the screen has room for, which is almost always smaller than the printed size. The resolution warning compares your file's real pixel dimensions against the physical print width in millimetres. Scaling the artwork down in the editor, or supplying a larger file, will clear it.
Can I change my design after ordering?
Only before the print file goes to production. Contact us with your order number as soon as possible — once a garment has been printed the design is fixed.
Can I return a custom piece?
Custom-printed items are made to your design, so they are not returnable for a change of mind. If the item arrives faulty, or the print does not match the design you approved, we will replace it.
